Hakuba Evergreen Ski/Snowboard lesson levels

If you are not sure of your level after reading the following don’t worry. Pick the level closest to what you think you are and your instructor will move you to a more appropriate group iff necessary after he/she has seen your style.

YETI CLUB (3-5YRS)

White: I have never skied before . Yellow: I can stop and am learning to turn . Green: I am becoming a strong turner, but cannot yet parallel ski at all. Blue: I can parallel ski a little but need to get better at it. Red: I am good at parallel skiing and can handle a range of terrain

HAKUBA HEROES GROUP (6-14 YRS)

White: Never skied before. Yellow: I am able to do a strong snowplough stop and am starting to turn. Green: I can link strong snowplow turns on beginners terrain. I want to learn how to do parallel turns Blue: I can do parallel turns on beginners terrain. Red: I can do parallel turns on easy advanced (black) terrain. Black: I can do parallel turns with confidence on black (advanced) terrain and just want to get better

ADULTS (15 YRS+)

1 st timers: Never skied before. Level 1: I can do a snowplough stop and I am starting to turn. Level 2: I can link strong snowplough turns on green (Beginner) terrain. Level 3: I can bring my skis together at the end of a snowplough turn on easier red (Intermediate) terrain but want to learn basic parallel turns. Level 4: I can link parallel turns on all red (Intermediate) terrain. Level 5: I can doconfident parallel turns on groomed and un-groomed black Advanced) terrain. I just want to get better.
