BEST TIME TO COME
That
depends
on
your
luck
and
also
what
you
demand
out
of
the
snow.
Put
briefly
(and
every
year
is
different),
before
the
middle
of
Dec
snow
can
be
very
unreliable
(on
the
other
hand
there
are
years
when
there
can
be
already
metres
of
snow
in
early
Dec).
Most
resorts
open
as
soon
as
there
is
enough
snow.
From
xmas
till
the
end
of
Feb
is
normally
most
reliable
for
powder.
From
March
onwards
the
snow
melt
begins,
but
with
few
crowds
it
can
be
a
great
time
to
visit.
Some
resorts
close
during
March
but
others
open
till
early May.
